Nicolette Scorsese stars as Dr. Elizabeth, a talented surgeon who becomes obsessed with her patient, Yvonne Katz (played by Sherilyn Fenn). After an accident leaves Yvonne disfigured and unable to leave her bed, Dr. Elizabeth amputates both of Yvonne's legs in order to keep her close. As the story unfolds, their twisted relationship takes a dark turn as Dr. Elizabeth becomes increasingly possessive over Yvonne, eventually attaching her heart to a box on wheels so that she can never escape. Nicolette Scorsese delivers an unnerving performance as the manipulative and dangerous doctor, capturing the audience's attention with her chilling portrayal of obsession and control.
